Procrastinate Procrastination

Procrastination is the problem that is faced by many people nowadays. There are often periods when we struggle to do many things simultaneously, but as the result we can’t finish even one task. We used to justify ourselves by saying that there is just not enough time to do everything that we planned. However, the main problem is that we can’t manage our time rationally.

Here is a list of tips that will help you to figure out how to increase your productivity and to plan your schedule in a right way. There are 5 main points that you should remember about: go to sleep early to have enough sleep, have a clear list of things you want to do during a day, organize breaks for a rest, don’t work at home, and create a proper atmosphere for your work.

All the mentioned tips are described in details in this infographic. You should keep all these points and you will see that procrastination can be easily avoided. Thus, these tips will help you to become more successful person and to do everything in time! It’s important to remember that circumstances are not the main reason of our lack of time. It’s only our inability to figure out how to deal with those circumstances.

5 Tips Against Procrastination


01 Prepping the night

Prepare everything you’ll need during the day in advance the night before.

Do exercise in the morning

10 minutes of workout increases productivity and stimulates release of endorphin.



02 Organize Your Breaks

Try the hack (10+2)x5 (min. of work + min. of break times an hour) (You’ll end up by skipping the breaks)

Make a break agenda

List all the things you like doing on your breaks: surfing the web, opening your facebook… etc.

Set up mini tasks 

Divide a big project into steps easier to achieve. Accomplishing something always gives a sense of fulfillment.


03 Organize Your Work

Set deadlines for your tasks

Feeling the time pressure can be helpful at work.

Schedule your chores

Make a list and stick it somewhere visible.



04 Work Outside Home

Go to the office or library

Don’t use the sofa and bed to work. Keep home as a place to unwind.

Redecorate your room

Do it every month. It motivates to maintain the new look.


05 Take care of the atmosphere

Decorate with red (increases attention to detail) and blue (fosters creativity)

No mobile devices on your desk

It lets you focus on your work without interruptions.
