Snippet: Confessions of the Professions is a blog project about personal stories and experiences of everyday people in the workplace. It focuses on different points of views because the authors are everyday people and not just limited to one person and a single blog. If you've ever worked a day in your life or held a job, you have a story to tell. Why not share your story with the world?
The Confessions of the Professions blog project emphasizes the experience of human being in the workplace. The blog is completely open for anyone to submit stories and does not require any registration. Authors who submit stories may also choose to remain anonymous while still sharing their experiences.
Everyone has a story to tell and this blog shares many different kinds of stories about many different careers and work scenarios, from doctors to lawyers to fast food workers and freelancers covering topics such as backstabbing co-workers, bad bosses, and even stories about customer hell. Every aspect of the job can be known through this blog. This blog seeks to understand the how people spend their time at work and get a sense of what it is like to be in their position. Every story will reveal something to be learned. Every story will be different, as every author is different, so there is no particular writing style.
There are still many stories to be written. No single person can know about every single job, therefore it is encouraged that everyone participate in this freelance open blog project known as Confessions of the Professions.
Minimal editing occurs for every story, such as spelling and paragraph formatting. All storied are posted as is. It is encouraged that no matter what job you work, whether it be the CEO of a company, an author, a stay at home mother, a teacher, or even the President of the United States, a CIA agent, an FBI agent, a firefighter, or a police officer, you share your story with the world.
Readers will get an understanding of the type of person working the job and the type of job it is, from the stresses to the joys of the job. The sole purpose of the blog is to understand the purpose, the passion, and the drive of the human being. Is money the motivation? Is happiness the motivation? Why do people get up and go to work? Is it because they are required to do so by law? On the other hand, why do some people lack motivation to do anything? Did they ever have dreams and wishes of someday being or doing something? When did they lose that passion? What is the spark that drives us all to do what we do?
Confessions of the Professions is for readers of all ages but may contain mature content that is suitable for an adult audience. Viewer Discretion is advised.
